I have to throw my hat in on "Funk It Up", as it's one of my favorite B sides when it comes to 90s House.

Awful track!! Rips a massive sample from a classic “Herbie Hancock” of the same name! Watered down crap!!

This is an amazing track. I loved it since 97 and i love it now. I guess its just a question of taste.

Does anyone know the catalog # of the original version, that says "What you staring at, you stupid honky bitch"?

https://www.discogs.com/Sex-O-Sonique-You-Get-Loose/release/396275Just this release. I think 'Get Loose' is exclusive to this pressing as well.

The Salt City Orchestra Remix is unbelievable future music and the most progressive non-Progressive-House tune ever.

This is quite simply an amazing house track. Amazing in that some 13 years on, it still sounds fresh as the day i first heard it on some Kiss FM compilation CD in '97. You could still play this in a club today, and it would still sit comfortably with modern tracks. Built around a nice Herbie Hancock sample, Full Intention adds an incredibly thick bassline that rolls with the drums so well, it also really thumps on a loud system. If you've ever seen the video, its frightening to see just how young Michael Gray and Jon Pearn are, they must have been about 19 years old when they made this! Like most good tracks, it is very simple, but by god it works so well. Defo in my top 5 house tracks ever.

Hi Do you know who the Black guy is in the video the one on the keyboard and sings?

If I was asked to pick my favourite house record then this will probably be it. It was a popular club hit at the time of the release, and has been featured on several prominent compilations of such house legends as Eric Morillo and Pete Tong. The track is actually a remake of a 1970s Herbie Hancock's disco hit 'I Thought It Was You', and in my opinion a spectacular remake of this well-respected classic.
